Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality repairs with minimum equipment downtime.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues independently.

• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

• Support workshop and site operations as required.

• Work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

• Ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Department Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

• Strong knowledge of earthmoving and construction machinery.

• Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, JCB, and Hyundai.

• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain faults.

• Ability to read service manuals and technical documentation.

• Willingness to work in both workshop and project site environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.

• Experience with engine overhauls and major component replacement.

• Basic understanding of electrical and diagnostic systems.

• UAE driving license is an advantage.
