PROCUREMENT IN-CHARGE
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement In-Charge with a minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement within civil construction and infrastructure contracting companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing construction materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers, controlling procurement costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites in line with project requirements and company procedures.
Requirements

Minimum 15 years of relevant procurement experience in civil construction and infrastructure contracting companies.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Extensive knowledge of procurement for roads, infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and other civil engineering works.

Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, plant requirements, and subcontracting arrangements.

Proven experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, quotation evaluation, and cost control.

Good knowledge of purchase orders, procurement documentation, supplier contracts, and payment terms.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.

Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet project deadlines.

UAE construction market experience and established supplier relationships are highly preferred.

A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
